Here you go:
You can crunch 2 GPU2 clients with your 9800GX2 for 9000-11,500 PpD
Plus at least one Windows SMP for an additional 2000+_PpD

If you get adveturous, you could install VM and crunch Two Linux SMPs (Instead of one WinSMP) for a good (appx) 150% increase in your SMP Point-Production.

Let us know if you need help setting this up

I've got a gx2 as well (actually 2 of them in one rig=4XGPU2 client), though nothing near that CPU. I've found that the 180.70 version of the NVidea driver works best for me, and most stable. I'm running my GX2's on XP32 bit, What OS are you running as that will determine the driver you choose at the NVidea website?

I'm using both the 6.20 and 6.23 GPU2 clients with the card and don't see much difference in production. The SMP client's most recent version is not so hot IMHO. I don't know if you can still get the previous version tho. What version/s of F@H clients are you currently running?

That setup should net you 12-14k PPD once you get it set up. Your CPU will be your big plus as mine is a q6600. What MOBO are you using also? I'll help with some links if you can provide some of the above information.

We'll all help you get geared up... if this is where you want to go.

EDIT: I noticed from another thread that you are sporting (2) GX2's in your possession. You can git 4 GPU2's up and at 'em with that. You would be looking at circa 20-24K PPD. Now that would ROCK.

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum and Team. I did a little bit of folding a while back but life kicked in and other priorities came first. I'm not sure how I only received 4 points for my first WU but when i was initially setting things up i started / stopped uninstalled/ reinstalled things a few times. My stats are growing at a decent clip now though. Great forum you have here I'm looking forward to helping the team.

glad you got to chime in.....

The reason you got only 4 points, probably because you received partial credit.
That occurs if you either turn a unit in late OR if you only return partial results, which happens sometimes due to no fault of us, maybe because the WU was faulty.
Regardless, you are doing a great service for Humanity, and again we thank you for contributing with Team_XPS.

As for the fancy sig, all our How-Tos are setup in this section: Folding How-Tos
I am not sure if Rafa has fixed the issues, we upgraded this site a while back and I remember some of the folks had issues with the fancy (Blue Ribbon) sig, and Rafa (Who designed it) was correcting the issues.
Regardless, this sticky How_to put your EOC stats into your sig & Track Stats has all the info.

If you tried and still have issues, let us know OR PM RafaPolit, he has been MIA lately, but I am certain he will assist.
